Check for continuity between the combination meter
9P connectors terminal and the o il pressure switch
wire Blue/red terminals.
If there is no continuity, check the wire harness and
combination meter sub-harness for an open circuit.
With the ign ition switch ON, measure the voltage at
the bottom of the combination meter terminals.
CONNECTION:
Blue/ red 1+1 - Green

Stand ard : Batte ry voltge
If the value is normal, replace t he combination meter
assembly.
REMO VAL/ INSTALLATION
Remove t he boot, terminal bolt a nd wire terminal.
Remove the oil pressure switch from the crankcase.
Apply sealant to the oil pressure switch threads as
shown.
LIGHTS/METERS/SWITCHES
9P CONNECTOR
Do not apply sea lant to the thread
head 3 - 4 mm 10.1 - 0.2 in) .

Install the oil pressure switch onto the crankcase,
tighten it to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 12 N· m 11 .2 kg/ .m. 9 lbf- ft}
Connect the oil pressure switch terminal to the switch
and tighten the screw to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 2 N'm (0.2 kqf-m, 1.4 Ib/·ft)
Install the dust cover.
