DIODE
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Rem ove the right side cover (pag e 2-2),
Disconnect t he start er relay 4P connecto r.
Disconn ect t he cab les f rom the sta rt er relay.
Rem ove the st art er relay assem bl y from the
fr am e guide.
REMOVAL
Rem ove the right side cover (pa ge 2-2).
Op en the fuse box and rem ove t he diode.
INSPECTION
Check f or co nt inuity bet wee n t he diode t ermi nals.
Wh en th ere is contin uit y, a sm all resistan ce value
will regi
ster.
If there is cont inuity, in one d irect ion, th e d io de is
normal.
INSTALLATION
Install the diod e in the reverse order of remova l.
