FUEL SYST EM (Programmed Fuel Injection)
Crank the engine with the starter motor, and
measure the cam pulse generator peak voltage
at the cam pulse generator 2P connector.

Conne ction: Gra y (+1 - W hite/Yellow (-)
Standard: 0.7 V minimum 120'C/68'FI
Normal
Connect the cam pulse generator 2P connector.
Disconnect the ECM connectors .
Connect the test harness to ECM connectors.
ECU TEST HARN ESS
Crank the engine with the starter motor, and
measure the cam pulse generato r peak voltage
at the test harness te rm inals.
Out of range
Out of range
• Faulty cam pulse ge nerator
• Open circuit in WhiteIYellow and/o r Gray wire
