FUEL SYSTEM (Programm ed Fuel Inj ection)
AIR CLEANER HOUSING
REMOVAL
Rem ov e t he throttle cab les fro m t he right handlebar
switch housing (page 13-3).
Remove the following:
- fuel tank (page 5-49)
- air cleaner element (page 3-5 )
Remove the vacuum tubes f rom the intake air duct
control solenoid valve.
Disconnect the intake air duct control solenoid valve

connector.
Discon nect the cam pulse gene rato r 2P connector.
Disconnect the crankcase br eath er tube from the air
cleaner housing.
Cari fornia ty pe on ly : Disconn ect th e No.5 tube from
the five way jo int.
Disconn ect t he f uel in jector 8P co nnector.
Disconn ect th e No 4 fuel inj ector 2P con nector.
Rem ove the starter valve knob stay bolt.
