HYDRAULIC BRAKE
Coat the new piston seals with clean brake fluid.
Coat the new dust seals with silicone grease.
Install the piston and dust seal into the groove of the
calipe r body.
Coat the calipe r piston s w ith clean brake flui d and
install them into the caliper cylinder w ith the ir open-
ing ends towa rd the pad.
Instal l th e new joint seals into the fluid passages on
the calip er.
Asse mble the cali per halv es.
Apply a locking agent to the cal ipe r assembly bolt
threads.
Install and tighte n the caliper assembly bolts to the
specif ied to rque .
TORQUE: 32 Nom 13.3 kgfom. 24 Ibfoft)
INSTALLATION
Install the br ake pad s (page 15-6).
Install th e br ake caliper onto the fork leg.
Install and tig hten the new caliper mo unting bolts to
the specified torqu e.
TORQUE: 30 Nom 13.1 kgfom. 22 Ibfoft)
Install the brake hose eyelet to th e caliper body wi t h
two new sealing w ashe rs and the oil bolt.
