CRANK SHAFT{TRANSMISSION
Align th e lock was her tabs with t he spli ne washer
grooves.
Al w ay s insta ll t he th r ust washe r and snap rin g with
th e chamfered (ro ll ed) edge f aci ng awa y fr o m the
t hru st lo ad.
Install the sna p ri ng so that it s end gap aligns with
th e groove in the splines.
M ake sure that the snap ring is f ully seated in the
shaft g roove afte r install in g
it.
