FUEL LIN E INSPECTION
FUEL PRESSURE INSPECTION

NOTICE
I
Before disconnecting fuel tubes, release the fuel
pressure
by
loosening the service check bolt at the
fuel tank.
Alw a ys replace the sealing washers when the ser-
vice check bolt is removed or loosened.
Open and support th e fron t end of the fuel ta nk
(page 3-4).
Rem ove t he ai r clea ner ho usin g side co ver (pa ge 2-2),
Unhoo k the batt ery cover retainers, then open the bat-
tery cover.
Disconnect the battery negati ve cab le f ro m the bat-
tery te rmin al.
Discon nect the pressure regulator vacuum t ube and
plug the vacuum tube.
Cov er t he fu el hose sealing nut with a rag or shop
tow el.
Slowl y loosen the fu el hose sealing nut and cat ch the
rem aining fuel using a approved gasoline con tainer.
