LUBRICATION SYSTEM
Install the oil pump cover and tighten the bolt to the
specif ied torque.
TORQUE: 8 Non (0.8 kqf-rn, 5.8 Ibf·ft)
Check th e oil pump operati on by turnin g the
pu mp shaft.
If
necessa ry,
reassem ble the oil pum p.

INSTALLATION
Install the oil pum p onto the crankcase w hile aligning
the pum p shaft lug wi th the water pum p shaft groove
by turning the o il pu m p shaft .
Install and tig hten t he three flange bolt secure ly.
Install the clutch assembly (page 9-10).
Afte r installation, fill the crankcase with recomm end-
ed oi l and check th althere are no oil leaks (page 3-12).
Check the o il pressure (page 4·3 ).
OIL COOLER
REMOVAL
Drain the eng ine oil and remov e the oil filter cartridge
(page 3-12).
Drain the coolant from the system (page 6-4).
Loosen the hose bands and discon nect the oil coole r
wat er hoses from the coole r.
