3. Install the document reading motor assy with four screws.

6. To reinstall, reverse the order of removal.

7. To reinstall, reverse the order of removal.
8.4.14 Registration motor (M3) (DF-704)
1. Remove the rear cover.
2. Disconnect the connector [1].

3. Remove the screw [2], and remove the earth plate [3].
4. Remove the screw [4].
5. Remove three screws [1], and remove the document feed motor assy [2].
6. Remove two screws [1] and belt [2], and remove the document feed motor [2].
1. Loosen the screw [1] and move the tension plate [2] in the direction of the
arrow to reduce the belt tension.
2. Tighten the screw [1].
4. Loosen the screw [1] and apply tension to the belt.
5. Tighten the screw [1].
