8.5.3 Replacing the transfer belt unit
(1) Periodically replacing parts/cycle
• Transfer belt unit: Every 300,000 sheets (bizhub C658)
• Transfer belt unit: Every 300,000 sheets (bizhub C558)
• Transfer belt unit: Every 300,000 sheets (bizhub C458)
NOTE
▪ Before replacement operations of the transfer belt unit, make sure to turn OFF the main power switch.
(2) Removal procedure
1. Open the right door and the regist unit.

2. Wipe out the IDC sensor window [1].
NOTE
▪ Do not wipe out with any solvents or alcohols.
2. Release three tabs [1], and remove the 2nd transfer paper winding
prevention guide [2].
3. Remove the screw [1], and remove the stopper [2].
4. Remove two screws [1] and unlock the transfer belt unit [2].
