The index register has a 1-point 16-bit configuration, and can be read and written in 16-bit units.
The data stored in the index register is cleared when the power is turned OFF.
Values that can be stored:
Decimal -32768 to 32767
Hexadecimal 0 to FFFF
Devices/labels can be used for indexes in array labels by setting the bit selection parameter "#6471/bit1" (array valid) to "1".
In this case, Z16 to Z19 are used to create the compilation result. Do not use Z16 to Z19 in sequence programs.
Restart the CNC after setting the bit selection parameter "#6471/bit1".
When the bit selection parameter "#6471/bit1" is "1", the number of device points for index resisters is 10 points (Z0 to Z9).
When the bit selection parameter is "0", the number of device points for index resisters is 14 points (Z0 to Z13).
(*1) Refer to "6.4 Index Modification" for the modifiaction target device.
