M800V/M80V Series PLC Programming Manual (2/2)
13 Spindle Control
13.11 Spindle Synchronization Control ll
 Calculating the spindle synchronization phase shift amount and requesting phase offset
The spindle phase shift amount calculation function obtains and saves the phase difference of the reference spindle and
synchronized spindle by turning the PLC signal ON during spindle synchronization. When calculating the spindle phase shift,
the synchronized spindle can be rotated with the handle, so the relation of the phases between the spindles can also be
adjusted visually.
If the spindle phase synchronization control signal is input while the phase offset request signal (SSPHF) is ON, the phases
will be aligned using the position shifted by the saved phase shift amount as a reference.
This makes aligning of the phases easier when grasping the material that the shape of one end differs from the other end.

Note
(1) The phase cannot be aligned while calculating the phase shift.
(2) The synchronized spindle cannot be rotated with the handle when the manual operation mode is set to the handle mode.

SSPHM
If spindle synchronization is carried out while this signal is ON, the
phase difference of the reference spindle and synchronized spin-
dle will be obtained and saved.
SSPHF
If spindle phase synchronization is carried out while this signal is
ON, the phase will be aligned using the position shifted by the
saved phase shift amount as a basic position.
-
The delay of the synchronized spindle in respect to the reference
spindle is output.
Unit: 360°/4096
<Note>
 If either the reference spindle or synchronized spindle has not
passed through the Z phase, etc., and the phase cannot be cal-
culated, -1 will be output.
 This data is output only while calculating the phase shift or
during spindle phase synchronization.
-
The phase difference saved with phase shift calculation is output.
Unit: 360°/4096
<Note>
 This data is output only during spindle synchronization.
