14 PLC Help Function
14.33 PLC Axis Control
Feedrate
When the operation mode is cutting feed or jog feed (register for operation mode is "1" to "3"), the PLC axis feedrate is
designated with a binary code.
Feedrate
(1st axis)
Designation value: 1 to 1000000 mm/min. (0.1 to 100000 inch/min.)
Note
(1) The speed unit is fixed regardless of the unit system set with the command unit.
(2) The feedrate designated in the parameters is used for the rapid traverse mode and reference position return mode.
(3) The feedrate can be changed during axis movement. In that case, a feedrate data (R1n + 6, 7) can be changed directly.
Movement data
When the operation mode is rapid traverse or cutting feed, the movement data is designated with a binary code.
Movement data
(1st axis)
Designation value: 0 to 99999999
Note
(1) Refer to the explanations in "#1003 iunit" and "#1005 plcunit" in "14.33.1 Specifications" for details on the unit.
(2) The movement data is classified as follows by the absolute command flag (bit8) of the command signal.
Absolute command flag = 0: Incremental position from the current position
Absolute command flag = 1: Absolute position of the machine coordinate system
(3) If the movement amount is changed during axis movement, the new movement amount will be validated at the next start.
Machine position
The machine position output to the machine system is expressed. The machine position becomes the "Rfp" (reference
position) when the reference position is reached.
Machine position (input unit)
(1st axis)
Note
(1) Refer to the explanations of "#1003 iunit" and "#1005 plcunit" in "14.33.1 Specifications" for details on the unit.
(2) The machine position of the PLC axis, to which the PLC axis control valid signal is ON, is automatically updated.
