Configuring Benchmarking Test Parameters on Router A
The following example requires you to navigate various levels in the configuration
hierarchy. For information about navigating the CLI, see Using the CLI Editor in Configuration
Mode in the CLI User Guide.
To configure the test parameters on Router A:
In configuration mode, go to the

[edit]
user@host# edit interfaces
Configure the interface on which the test must be run.
2.
[edit interfaces]
user@host# edit ge-0/0/0
Configure a logical unit and specify the protocol family.
3.
[edit interfaces ge-0/0/0]
user@host# edit unit 0 family inet
Specify the address for the logical interface.
4.
[edit interfaces ge-0/0/0 unit 0 family inet]
user@host# set address 200.0.0.1/24
Enter the command to go the previous level in the configuration hierarchy.
5. up
[edit interfaces ge-0/0/0 unit 0 family inet]
user@host# up
Go to the top level of the configuration command mode.

[edit interfaces ge-0/0/0 unit 0]
user@host# top
In configuration mode, go to the
