To configure the IGMP Snooping version, use the ip igmp snooping version Global
Configuration mode command.
Syntax
ip igmp snooping version {2 | 3}
Parameters
•
version 2 —Specifies the IGMP version as IGMPv2.
•
version 3—Specifies the IGMP version as IGMPv3.

Example
switchxxxxxx(config)# ip igmp snooping version 3
To enable IGMP Snooping report suppression, use the ip igmp snooping report-
suppression Global Configuration mode command.
To disable IGMP Snooping report suppression and forward all IGMP reports to
multicast routers, use the no form of this command.

no ip igmp snooping report-suppression
