Parameters
power
—Maximum amount of power consumption in milliwatts on the
interface. (Range: 0 to 30000 milliwatts)
Default Configuration
30000 milliwatts for 802.3at ports and 15400 milliwatts for other ports.
Command Mode

Example
switchxxxxxx(config)# interface gi1
switchxxxxxx(config-if)# power inline limit 20000
To set the power limit mode, use the power inline limit-mode Global Configuration
mode command.
To revert to its default setting, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
power inline limit-mode {class | port}
no power inline limit-mode
Parameters
class—Specifies that the power limit of a port is based on the class of the
Power Device (PD) as detected during the classification process.
port—Specifies that the power limit of a port is fixed regardless of the
class of the discovered PD.
