Chapter 7: Layer 2/3 Ethernet Switch Firmware
Description
This parameter specifies the operational point-to-point status of the LAN
segment attached to this port. It indicates whether a port is considered to
have a Point-to-point connection or Shared Media.
This parameter specifies the port's current role as defined by the Spanning
Tree Protocol.
