6E1-54 ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM (G13/G16 ENGINE WITHOUT WU TWC)
B-6 EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK (if equipped)
Check canister purge system for operation referring to
"EVAP CANISTER PURGE INSPECTION" in this
section.
Is it in good condition?
Check vacuum passage, hoses and EVAP canister
purge valve referring to "VACUUM PASSAGE INSPEC-
TION" in this section.
Are they in good condition?
D "R/Bl" wire open,
D "R/Bl" wire shorted to ground,
D Poor EVAP canister purge valve coupler connection,
D Poor A5 connection,
D Poor performance of ECT sensor or MAP sensor or
D Faulty idle switch
If none of the above exists, substitute a known-good
ECM (PCM) and recheck.
