B-10 A/C SIGNAL CIRCUITS CHECK (VEHICLE WITH A/C ONLY)
STEP
Check voltage at A14 terminal.
Are check results as specified below?
A/C switch ON: 0 – 1.5V
A/C switch OFF: 10 – 14V

NOTE:
When evaporator thermistor temperature is below
1_C (34_F), A/C is not turn ON (A14 terminal volt-
age is not become about 0V). It is not abnormal.
Check voltage at A8 terminal.
Are check results as specified below?
While engine running and A/C switch ON: 10 – 14V
While engine running and A/C switch OFF: 0 – 1.5V

Go to Step 2.
A/C control signal
circuit is in good
condition.

exists, substitute a
known-good ECM
(PCM) and recheck.
