6A3-14 ENGINE MECHANICAL (J18 TYPE ENGINE)
1. Throttle body 3. Intake manifold
2. Throttle body gasket
4) Install EGR pipe.
1. EGR pipe
5) Install intake manifold front stiffener and rear stiffener.
Tighten bolts to specified torque.
Tighten Torque
(a): 25 N·m (2.5 kg-m, 18.0 lb-ft)
(b): 50 N·m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 lb-ft)
1. Intake manifold
front stiffener
2. Intake manifold
rear stiffener
6) Install throttle body to intake manifold with new gasket.
Tighten bolts and nuts to specified torque.
Tighten Torque
(a): 25 N·m (2.5 kg-m, 18.0 lb-ft)
7) Connect the following hoses:
D Brake booster hose to intake manifold
D PCV hose to PCV valve
D Fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose to intake manifold
D Coolant hoses to throttle body and cylinder head
D Breather hose to throttle body
D Vacuum hose to EVAP canister purge valve.
8) Connect the following electric lead wires:
D IAC valve
D TP sensor
D MAF sensor
D EGR valve
D EVAP valve canister purge valve
D MDP sensor
