Step 5 Enable the RRPP protocol.
After configuring an RRPP ring, you need to enable RRPP on each node on the ring to activate
the RRPP ring. The configuration procedure is as follows:
l Configure PE-AGG.
l Configure UPE A.
l Configure UPE D.
l # Configure UPE B.
l Configure UPE C.
l Configure CE1.
l Configure CE2.
Step 6 Configure a ring group.
l Configure UPE C (assistant edge node).
l Configure UPE B (edge node).

[CE2-rrpp-domain-region1] ring 3 enable
[CE2-rrpp-domain-region1] quit
# Configure CE2 as the master node of ring 3 in domain 2. Configure Eth 0/0/2 as the primary
port and Eth 0/0/1 as the secondary port.

[CE2-rrpp-domain-region2] ring 3 node-mode master primary-port ethernet 0/0/2

[CE2-rrpp-domain-region2] ring 3 enable
[CE2-rrpp-domain-region2] quit

[PE-AGG] rrpp enable
# Enable the RRPP protocol.
[UPEA] rrpp enable

[UPED] rrpp enable
# Enable the RRPP protocol.
[UPEB] rrpp enable

[UPEC] rrpp enable

[CE1] rrpp enable

# Create ring group 1, which consists of four subrings: ring 2 in domain 1, ring 3 in domain
1, ring 2 in domain 2, and ring 3 in domain 2.
[UPEC] rrpp ring-group 1
[UPEC-rrpp-ring-group1] domain 1 ring 2 to 3
[UPEC-rrpp-ring-group1] domain 2 ring 2 to 3
[UPEC-rrpp-ring-group1] quit
