Before installing

Please note the following before you install the client components.

Checking the workstation

Before you start the installation, please check that:
• Your PC is switched on.
• The operating system is installed and the PC connected to a network.
• TCP/IP must be installed and configured.
• You are logged in as the system administrator.
• Other Windows applications are closed.

What information do you need for the installation?

You need the following Customer Interaction Express system information for the installation. Make a note
of the information. You can then carry out the installation without having to stop to search for information.
• Host name of the CORBA name server
• Host name of the TTrace server
• Host name of the license server
