Changing the configuration

To change the Module Manager (Communication Manager) configuration, for example to change the
BCAG no., number of B-channels, etc., restart setup and enter the changes in the correct dialog box.

Checking the connection with the PBX

You can check whether a connection with the PBX has been established.
1. Open a command prompt (Dos box).
2. Enter the command
telnet
3. Enter the command
open <Host name> 5679
4. Use either the name or the TCP/IP address as the host name. 5679 is the port used by the
Communication Manager.
5. If there is a connection, the entries are deleted and there are no further messages.
6. If there is no connection, the following error messages may appear:
Unable to connect to host
or
Connect failed
7. In this case, check the connection and settings. Make sure the digital subscriber is using the ETSI,0
protocol.
