5.7.3 Checking Hydraulic Oil

The hydraulic system will not work correctly if the hydraulic oil level is too low or too high. It is extremely important to
avoid contamination of the hydraulic system when service and regular maintenance is performed.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before leaving the operator's seat for any reason.
WARNING
Do NOT inspect the hydraulic system for leaks using a part of your body. High-pressure fluid escaping through a pinhole
leak can penetrate the skin, causing serious injury.
1. Park the windrower on a level surface.
2. Lower the header fully.
3. Lower the reel fully.
