3. Select one of the following deck positions using the DECK
SHIFT switches on the operator's console:
• Right-side delivery (A)
• Center delivery (B)
• Left-side delivery (C)
4. Disengage the header by pushing down on HEADER
ENGAGE switch (A).
5. Adjust the float setting for the selected deck position. For
instructions, refer to
Setting Float, page
6. Repeat previous steps for the other deck positions.

4.5.3 Header Drive

All header drive controls are located on the operator's console and on the ground speed lever (GSL) handle.
NOTE:
Some controls are optional equipment and may not be present in your unit. Some controls may be installed, but will be
nonfunctional for certain headers.

Engaging and Disengaging the Header

The HEADER ENGAGE switch engages and disengages the header drive.
DANGER
Ensure that all bystanders have cleared the area.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected start-up or fall of a raised machine, always stop the engine and
remove the key before leaving the operator's seat, and always engage the safety props before going under the
machine for any reason.
