Risk of injury due to lack of knowledge and failure to follow
guidelines in manual mode!
The use of manual mode by users without medical qualifications
and training in defibrillation/cardioversion and/or failure to follow
guidelines may result in injury to the patient, user or bystanders.
 Only use manual mode if the user has a medical qualification
and is familiar with device operation and options.
 Follow currently applicable guidelines on defibrillation/
cardioversion.
 Observe national and regional provisions on defibrillation/
cardioversion.
 Observe organizational guidelines on defibrillation/
cardioversion.
 Include the patient condition when deciding on treatment.
Risk of injury due to incorrectly selected patient group!
If the wrong patient group is selected, the shock energy may be
insufficient or too high for the selected patient group and may
injure the patient.
 Adapt the patient group to the patient.
 If the patient group is incorrect: Change the patient group in
the application menu.
1. If the patient group is incorrect: Open the application menu
with the navigation knob and change the patient group.
2. Select manual mode with the Manual function button. When
doing so, please note:
