Section 2: General operation

Setting speed

Speed is set from the SPEED configuration menu and is structured as follows.
Front-panel speed configuration
Press SPEED (or use the CONFIG menu) to display the following menu items:
FAST: Selects the fast analog-to-digital converter (ADC)
MED: Sets the speed to 0.10 PLC
NORMAL: Sets speed to 1.00 PLC
HI-ACCURACY: Sets speed to 10.00 PLC
OTHER: Used to set speed to any PLC value from 0.001 to 25
Selecting the FAST menu item selects the fast analog to digital converter (ADC). All other menu items
on the speed menu use the integrating ADC.
The SPEED setting affects all measurement functions. After setting speed, display resolution can be
changed using the DIGITS key.

* The speed setting is global and affects all measurement functions.
Speed programming example
Use the NPLC command to set the speed. The programming example below illustrates how to set the
speed to 10 PLC:
-- Set NPLC to 10.
