ISIS Router Settings

This window is used to display and configure the ISIS router settings.
To view the following window, click L3 Features > ISIS > ISIS Router Settings, as shown below:
The fields that can be configured are described below:

Description
Select the protocol that will be used here. Options to choose from are IPv4 and
IPv6.
Enter the ISIS area tag here. This specifies the tag of a routing process in which
the IP interface is enabled. This can be up to 16 characters long.
Select to enable or disable the adjacency check feature here. ISIS performs
consistency checks on hello packets and forms an adjacency only with a
neighboring router that supports the same set of protocols. This is used to enable
or disable the check.
Select to enable or disable the default information originate feature here. If this
enabled, ISIS will generate an advertisement for default routes in its Level-2 Link-
State Packets (LSPs).
