2.8 Basic Configuration

This section contains information on the basic configuration settings to bring up the AP device. Given below are the basic
configuration settings:
1. IP Address: If you have DHCP Server on your network, then set the Address Type as Dynamic. When set to Dynamic,
the device gets its IP Address from the DHCP Server. If there is no response from the DHCP Server, then the device will
fall back to 169.254.128.132. If you do not have the DHCP Server on your network, change the Address Type as
Static. For details on how to configure the Address Type and the IP address, refer to
2. Country Code: For US Regulatory Domain, you need not change the Country Code. For World Regulatory domain,
you will have to change the Country Code. For details on how to configure the Country Code, refer to Properties.
3. Radio Mode: By default, the radio mode on both Radio1 (Interface1) and Radio 2 (Interface 2) is set to AP. For
details on how to configure the radio mode, refer to Properties.
