Type
TSP-Link accessible
Attribute (RW)
Yes
Usage
timeout = lan.timedwait
lan.timedwait = timeout
timeout
Details
This attribute controls the amount of time that resources are allocated to closed TCP connections. When a TCP
connection is closed, the connection is put in a timed-wait state and resources remain allocated for the
connection until the timed-wait state ends. During the timed-wait interval, the instrument processes delayed
packets that arrive after the connection is closed.
Use this attribute to tailor the timed-wait state interval for the instrument.
