Removal
NOTE: This page describes how to disassemble the Magenta Rotary Auger.
Turn power off and disconnect the power plug.
Be careful not to touch the seals or mating surfaces of the rotary dispense parts. Contamina-
tion by skin oils can cause toner problems.
NOTE: Since a large amount of toner overflows during this procedure, use a plastic bag to
recover the overflowing toner to prevent contaminating the work area.
1. Remove the following parts:
a. Development Housing (REP 6.6.1)
b. Toner Cartridge Cover (PL 6.2 Item
c. Trickle Toner Bottle (PL 6.5 Item
d. Cover Assembly (PL 6.5 Item
e. Remove the Front Door Interlock Cover
2. Remove the Toner Cartridge Unit (REP
3. Remove the bracket (Figure 1).
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Release the clamp and remove the wire.
3. Remove the screws (2).
4. Remove the screws (2).
5. Remove the bracket.
