1.3.6 Fusing

In the fusing process, toner is fixed on the paper by heat and pressure.
-
Since the finished toner image transferred from the belt can be easily broken by a finger touch, the
toner image must be fixed on the paper with the FUSER (fusing unit).
The toner particles are melted by the HEAT ROLL heated by the Heater lamp and is deposited on
the paper under pressure given by the belt opposed against the heat roll.
