4.5 Image Quality FIP

FIP-1.P1 Faint print (Low contrast)

Before commencing troubleshooting, check the paper transfer path. Make sure there is no foreign
materials on the transfer path, such as staples, paper clips, scraps of paper and so on.

Checking the Faint print.
1 Print the Windows test page.
Is the image printed correctly?
Checking the Toner Type

Is the Dell Toner seated?
Checking the sealing tapes on the PHD UNIT staying
Turn off the power, and open the COVER ASSY FRONT.
Remove the PHD UNIT.
Are there sealing tapes on the PHD UNIT?
