Groups

Membership in a group does not necessarily mean that a subscriber
receives calls sent to the group. A subscriber that is logged out takes on no
group functions. This can be especially important for employees of a support
department, who should not be available to customers around the clock, but
rather rotate in and out of the hotline.
Note:
If a group (subgroup) has been configured in the PBX as member of a
group (main group) and a subscriber is at the same time member of
these two groups, he will only be considered as a member of the main
group when a call comes in.
Subgroups (i.e. groups that have been configured as members of other
groups) are permanently logged in as incoming and permanently
logged out as outgoing.
Phones permanently logged in cannot log out of a group.
Group calls can also be placed in the waiting loop, always provided that
at least one subscriber is logged in as incoming. The group will be
called as soon as a subcriber who is logged in as incoming is free.
