VoIP/GSM Routing

VoIP/GSM routing precedes Least Cost Routing (LCR) and can be used to
specify an order for exchange line assignment to certain prefixes or
complete phone numbers. The LCR provider will then be dialled in advance
at the selected exchange lines (except for GSM gateways). A table with
exception numbers must be set up for this and saved in the PBX.
VoIP/GSM routing proceeds as follows:
A user dials an external number.
The PBX checks whether the phone number or the phone number
range is specified in the exception numbers and switched on for the
current configuration.
If the phone number is found, the PBX automatically forwards the dial
attempt to the first selected connection.
If the selected connection is busy when dialled, the next connection
selected is attempted (up to three are possible).
After a dial attempt with the third connection, if no connection is estab-
lished, you hear the busy signal.
Note:
If a call is initiated over a targeted exchange line access point or VoIP
access point, VoIP/GSM routing is not performed.
The VoIP/GSM routing is performed depending on the destination
number, if the exchange line settings (subscriber, group) do not prevent
this (e.g. exchange line authorisation only for selected connections,
preferred exchange line, call restrictor).
