5.7 REAR CARRIER REPLACEMENT

1. Set a hydraulic jack under the rear frame as a sup-
port and remove the rear wheels.
2. Unscrew the brake caliper mounting bolts (1) to remove
the brake caliper (2).
3. Pull out the rear axle cover (1) and remove the split
pin and slotted nut to remove the hub (2) and brake
disc (3) assembly.

4. Remove the upper/lower rear arm mounting bolts (1)
and carrier assembly mounting bolt (2).
5. Pull out the carrier assembly (1).
6. Pull out the snap ring (1) and tap the bearing (2) to
remove it.
7. Assemble the carrier in the reverse order of disas-
sembly.
