5.2 COOLING FAN MOTOR

The cooling fan motor is installed on the back of
the radiator under the hood.

• The cooling fan motor is operated and stopped ac-
cording to the preset coolant temperature.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position and
disconnect the electric motor connector.
2. Connect the terminal (1) to the positive battery ter-
minal and the terminal (2) to the negative battery
terminal using a jump leads.
3. If the fan motor does not operate, replace it with a
new one.
