5.7 PARKING BRAKE SWITCH

The parking brake switch is installed to the front
of the parking brake lever on the left side from the
driver's seat.
• N.O (Normally open) type:
It is normally open (OFF) but it is closed (ON) when
contact point is pressed.
CONTINUITY TEST
Disconnect the brake switch connector and measure
the resistance between the switch terminal and chassis
(ground).
Measure the resistance separately with the parking
brake lever applied and released.
