6. Apply LOCTITE #242 or equivalent to the driven
pulley mounting bolt and tighten it completely.
Driven pulley mounting bolt (1)
tightening torque .............24.5 Nm

7. Install the outer CVT cover and tighten its mounting
bolt.
8. Make sure that all mounting bolts for the engine
and CVT are installed properly.
CAUTION
• When installing the internal CVT cover, remove
any Three Bond residual from the mating surface
behind the fl ywheel and apply a suffi cient amount
of Three Bond 1206D or equivalent to the cover
surface before installation to prevent leakage.
