3. Unscrew the brake caliper (1) mounting bolts (M8, 2 EA)
to remove the brake caliper.
4. Pull out the axle cap (1) and remove the slotted nut (2).
Then, tap the brake disc assembly (3) forward gently
to remove it as one unit.
Slotted nut
tightening torque ............... 95 Nm

5. Remove the slotted nut (1) and split pin under the tie
rod end mounting bolt as well as the slotted nut (2)
and split pin under the front knuckle mounting bolt to
separate the tie rod end and lower arm.
IMPORTANT
When installing the tie rod end mounting bolt,
•
tighten the slotted nut to the specifi ed torque and
then tighten it further until the split pin hole is
aligned with the nut groove.
Slotted nut
tightening torque ............ 54 ~ 61 Nm
6. Tap the lower arm (1) downward to remove it. Then,
pull the knuckle (2) down to separate it from the front
axle drive shaft.
