6.2.7 PISTON, FLYWHEEL AND CRANKSHAFT

DISASSEMBLY
1. Unscrew the connecting rod mounting bolts (1) of
the cylinder piston from the oil pan side and push
the connecting rod toward the head to pull out the
piston assembly. At this time, mark the pistons'
numbers according to their corresponding cylinders
in order to install them into their original positions
later.
2. Unscrew the fi ve fl ywheel mounting bolts (M10, 1)
and pull the fl ywheel to remove it. (14mm)

3. Unscrew the 17 main bearing case cover mounting
bolts (M8, 1) and remove the main bearing case
cover, oil seal, bearing case gasket and bearing
case cover gasket in order. For the bearing case
cover mounting bolts, unscrew the outer bolts fi rst
and then the inner bolts later.
4. Unscrew the two main bearing case bolts (M8,1)
tightened to the cylinder block. (13 mm)
Bolt (M8)
tightening torque ............30 ~ 34 Nm
