7. Unscrew the cylinder head bolts (1) in the correct
removal order. (See 6.2.1 "Cylinder head.")
8. Remove the cylinder head assembly.
9. Pull out the cylinder head gasket (1) and replace it
with a new one.
10. Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION
• When installing the engine again, adjust the
valve clearance after installing the rocker arm
assembly. (See 5.7.1 "Clearance adjustment.")
• For the cylinder head bolt installation, refer to
6.2.1. "Cylinder head."
