5.4 GEAR SHIFT SYSTEM DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY

1. Unscrew the shift cover mounting bolts (1) (M6, 5 EA) and shift lever mounting nut (2) (M8, 1 EA) using the 10
mm and 12 mm spanners and socket wrenches to remove the shift cover.
2. Remove the shift disc (1), spacer (2), 16 gear (3), spring (4), lock arm (5), shaft (6), 33 gear (7) and O-ring (8)
from the shift cover side.
