TRANSMISSION - DISASSEMBLY, SERVICE AND ASSEMBLY
4. When assembling the rear wheel drive shaft, fi t the
31 bevel gear (1), 22 sprocket (2), snap ring (3),
spacer (4) and ball bearing (5) to the splined side
of the rear wheel drive shaft. Then, tap in the ball
bearing (6) from the other side.
CAUTION
• When disassembling the rear wheel drive shaft
(1), keep the adjusting shims (2) on the case side
in a safe place. When assembling the shaft, make
sure to insert the shims, in the cover in the ball
bearing mounting area.
