DTC Troubleshooting
Step
1 Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check"
performed?
2 Check wire circuit
1) Disconnect radiator fan control relay No.1 (1) from relay
box with ignition switch turned OFF.
2) Turn ON ignition switch, measure voltage between each
engine ground to "BLK/WHT" and "BLU/WHT" wire
terminal.

3. Radiator fan relay No. 3
Is voltage 10 – 14 V?
3 Check wire circuit
1) Connect radiator fan control relay No.1 to relay box with
ignition switch turned OFF.
2) Turn ON ignition switch, measure voltage between
vehicle body ground and "G04-18" terminal wire.
Is voltage 10 – 14 V?
4 Check wire circuit
1) Disconnect connector from ECM with ignition switch
turned OFF.
2) Disconnect radiator fan control relay No.1 from relay
box.
3) Measure resistance between "G04-18" terminal wire and
vehicle ground.
Is resistance infinity?
Action

Yes
Go to Step 2.
Go to Step 3.
