MOUNT
FLANGE BUSHING (14 x 16 x 22.5 mm)
INSTALLATION
Set a thick wood block [1] under the oil seal (14 x 26 x 6
mm) installation part [2] of the mount case as shown.
Apply engine oil to the circumference of a new flange
bushing [3].
Drive the flange bushing into the mount case using the
special tools and a hydraulic press as shown.

Pilot, 14 mm [6]
OIL SEAL/WATER SEAL
INSTALLATION
Apply soapy water to the circumference of the new oil
seal (14 x 26 x 6 mm) [1].
Install the oil seal as shown using the special tools.
• Note the installation direction of the oil seal as
shown.

Attachment, 24 x 26 mm [3]
After installing the oil seal, apply grease to the oil seal
lip and the area around the lip.
Apply soapy water to the circumference of the two new
water seals (22 x 35 x 7 mm) [1].
Install the water seals one by one in the mount case
using the special tools as shown.
• Note the installation direction of the water seals as
shown.
Be sure to apply marine grease to the water seal mating
surfaces before installation.

Attachment, 32 x 35 mm [3]
After installing the water seal, apply grease to the water
seal lip and the area around the lip.
