FUEL SYSTEM
1. DLC signal line short circuit inspection
Turn the combination switch OFF and remove the
SCS service check connector [1] from DLC
Turn the combination switch ON.
Measure the voltage between the DLC
(Light green) terminal and engine ground.
Is the measurement within 4.75 – 5.25 V?
YES
NO
2. MIL ON line short circuit inspection
Turn the combination switch OFF.
Disconnect the ECM connector A
Turn the combination switch ON and check the MIL.
Does the MIL go OFF?
YES
NO
3. MAP sensor power line short circuit inspection 1
Turn the combination switch OFF.
Connect ECM connector A
Disconnect the MAP sensor 3P connector
Turn the combination switch ON and check the MIL.
Does the MIL go OFF?
YES
NO

– GO TO STEP 2.
– Repair short in the Light green wire.
– GO TO STEP 3.
– Repair short in the main wire harness
between the ECM and the MIL.

– GO TO STEP 4.
