ZXR10 2900E Series Command Reference

The GARP function is disabled.

4.24.3 set garp timer

This command sets the GARP timer.

Command Mode

set garp timer {hold | join | leave | leaveall}<timer_value>

Enables the GARP function

Disables the GARP function

Hold timer. When the timer times out, join/leave packets allows

to be sent. The interval of the garp protocol packet sending is

increased and the network bandwidth consumption is decreased,

to make the garp protocol packets carry more information. The

default value is 100 milliseconds.

Join timer. When the timer times out, the garp protocol sends

garp join packets. The default value is 200 milliseconds, and the

range is 200 to 400 milliseconds.

Leave timer. When the timer times out, the garp protocol sends

garp leave packets. The default value is 600 milliseconds, and the

range is 500 to 9900 milliseconds.

Leaveall timer. When the timer timeout, the garp protocol sends

leaveall packets. The default value is 10000 milliseconds, and the

range is 6000 to 300000 milliseconds.

Timeout duration (milliseconds) of each timer.
