Ringing Options
Personalized Ringing Options
Personalized Ringing options allow a user to select one of eight different ringing
patterns for his or her telephone, making it easier to distinguish its ring from those
of other telephones. The user hears the personalized ringing pattern as the long
part of the distinctive ring for an inside, outside, returning transfer, or callback call,
described in the next section. Pattern #1 is the factory setting.
Distinctive Ringing
Distinctive ringing allows users to identify the type or origin of an incoming call.
The system identifies calls with the distinctive ringing patterns listed in
These patterns cannot be changed.
