Utility Functions
Identification Query (Remote Command Only) Returns a string of instrument identification
information. The string will contain the model number, serial number and software
revision.
The response is organized into four fields separated by commas. The field definitions are as
follows:

*IDN? Returns instrument identification information, such
as:
Agilent Technologies,N1996A,US45310109,A.01.02
There is no equivalent key. But this information can found on
the instrument "Splash Screen" by pressing the Mode key.
Parts of this information are also found by pressing System,
System Stats, and System, Option Manager, Install Info.
